
Kusel is a 74 acre lake located in the Town of Springwater, Wauhsara County, Wisconsin. The maximum depth of the lake is 29 ft. The lake has one public boat landing.
Kusel Lake enforces Slow-No-Wake rules daily from 5:00PM to 10:00AM. Any motorized watercraft traveling faster than No-Wake must travel in a counter-clockwise direction. Safe swim areas are posted at the public access boat launch.

This is the final draft of the Kusel Lake Management Plan developed with the help of UW/SP and Waushara County. We hope to present it to the Kusel/Wilson/Round Lakes Protection & Rehabilitation District at is quarterly meeting on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 9:00 AM for the District's approval. Then it has to be approved by the Township. After the Township approves it, it has to be approved by Waushara County. Finally, it has to be approved by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources.
Waushara County Land Conservation Department has incentives for this volunteer shoreline protection program that help pay for things such as plants and landscaping costs.Read more at Shoreline Restoration.
